Vee is the persona at the heart of Vives Tutor. She is named for Juan Luis Vives, a 16th-century educator who believed children learn best when they feel safe enough to be wrong out loud. That is exactly what Vee does — she walks through hard ideas one step at a time, sketches when it helps, and never makes your kid feel small for asking.
She is not a chatbot pretending to be a teacher. She is a tutor with one job: meet your child where they are and gently move them forward.

A note about reading & speaking
Vee can read her answers aloud, and your child can tap a microphone to speak instead of typing — a real lift for younger kids and beginning readers. Real-time voice conversations are built and ready. We're holding that launch only until we land on a provider whose privacy posture matches the bar we set for the rest of the product. The standard for kids' data is high here, and we won't lower it to ship a feature faster.
I built this for my own family first.
My name is Adolfo. My wife and I are full-time RVers, homeschooling our daughter from the road. I built Vives because I wanted a tutor that was patient when I wasn't available, curious when she was curious, and safe enough that I didn't have to hover over her shoulder.
Vee isn't trying to replace you. She's the extra set of hands you wish you had — the one that never gets frustrated, never rushes, and always meets your kid exactly where they are.
